São Paulo, Brazil
On our way to Buenos Aires, we had a long layover in São Paulo. Instead of spending the day in the airport, we got a day room at the airport Marriott to park our bags in and give us access to a shower, freshened up, and then headed into the city where we visited the Museum of Image and Sound. We arrived at the museum to find that they had a special market going on that day, featuring the works of many local artists. And, as a result, admission to the museum was free for the day. It was a fun way to spend the afternoon between flights, and gave us a small taste of Brazil.
