Fatehpur Sikri
Fatehpur Sikri, located 23 miles from Agra, is a walled city consisting of a series of palaces and a large mosque. It is considered to be one of the best preserved collections of Indian Mughal architecture in India. The site sits high on a rocky ridge, and is built almost exclusively from red sandstone, giving it an impressive, fortress-like appearance that can be seen for many miles.
