Dubai

On our return trip, our flight arrangements included an overnight layover in Abu Dhabi, one of the United Arab Emirates. We were scheduled for nearly 24 hours on the ground in the UAE, but due to a flight delay, that time was reduced. Still, we were able to hop in a taxi and head for Dubai shortly after checking into our hotel in Abu Dhabi. We spent the evening enjoying the view from the observation deck located on the 124th floor of the Burj Khalifa, exploring the massive Dubai Mall, and watching the Dubai Fountain. We also found out what Mexican food and nonalcoholic margaritas in the Middle East are like, eating dinner in the mall at the Dubai location of Rosa Mexicano.
